Edu 4001 - Professional Learning and Development in Education: Teaching resources

This guide has been created for education students undertaking the unit Edu-4001.

Teaching Resource Collection (TRC)

The Library maintains a specialised collection of teaching resources designed for classroom use from early childhood education through to secondary school. This collection comprises fiction and non-fiction books, big books, kits, posters, puzzles, games, puppets and audio-visual material, and is intended to support the study of the current Western Australian educational curriculum and also its practical application during professional experience placements.

TRC is located on level 5 of the Robertson Library, Building 105 on the Bentley Campus.

Finding resources in TRC

You can search for items held in the TRC from the Library Catalogue

In the Catalogue search box type keywords from your topic eg 'farm animals'

On the results page, navigate to the filters on the right side and locate 'Library or Collection'  

Click on Teaching Resources to see all the items in the TRC based on your keywords.
