Finding a known item

When you know the title of a book, journal or journal article:

  • Enter the title in the search box
  • Select using my exact phrase and in the title

Want online only or peer-reviewed articles?

  • Select under Show only


Want to read online? e.g. ebook

  • Select Books and Available Online

Find a database

You can find useful databases by:

  • Entering broad keywords
  • Using the Refine My Results option on the left of the results screen to limit the results to your school, faculty or subject area.
  • Using the dropdown menu in the box “anywhere in the record” to select databases in your research area, or “databases beginning with”
