Apps & mobile resources: QR codes

What is a QR code?

LibGuide QR code

A QR (Quick Response) code is a barcode that contains text and other data encoded within it which can lead you to websites, someone's contact details, PDFs and more.

A QR code can be scanned by the camera of a mobile device - provided it is equipped with a QR code reader application - enabling you to display text or directly opening a web page from your mobile device.
