Architecture and Interior Architecture: Specialised resources

Finding maps and plans

One of the best resources for locating floor plans is the Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals

You can access the Avery Index database through the library catalogue, under Databases.

Search for the name of the building you're interested in, eg. The Louvre

Look for the 'Search Options' section on the database homepage. Locate Document feature and select maps, elevations, drawings etc.

Searching in this manner will retrieve records that have these terms in the 'document feature' field.

Collaboration Hub

The Collaboration Hub (previously known as the Resource Centre) is provided for Curtin students and staff from the schools of Built Environment and Art & Design, and supports the schools teaching and learning objectives.  Further details can be found by visiting the Hub, located in the Architecture building (Building 201 - level 3) or by searching through the Collaboration Hub's Catalogue.
